Heater Accessories
Accessories are where a sauna install stalls. The heater is on the pad, the room is clad, and the whole thing waits three weeks on a flue adapter nobody knew was needed. So we stock the small parts: stones, controls, chimney sections, clearance shields, safety rails and replacement elements for the heaters we sell.
Flue size is what we catch most. Harvia wood-burning stoves ship with 4.5 inch European pipe, so North American 6 inch pipe needs an adapter, and that is a part you want in the same box as the stove. Chimney kits, smoke pipes and roof fittings have their own section.
Clearances are the other one. A protective sheath lets a wood stove sit closer to combustible material than it otherwise could, and the stainless HIVE Reflector cuts wall-side clearance on HUUM’s round basket, both only in the configurations your current heater manual allows. Read the manual, not the internet, and when you are unsure round the clearance the safe way.
Stones ship with a heater order so we can match size and count to your model. Counts and sizes are model specific, so read your heater’s data label first rather than buying by the box.
Two more that get ordered late. A HUUM heater rated 12 kW or above needs the UKU extension box, and a panel extension cable moves a Xenio or Fenix controller well away from the heater. Both are separate orders.

Harvia WL110 Protective Bedding for Wood Sauna Stoves | 22 x 25 in
$356.00An aluminum-zinc-coated steel plate with adjustable feet that goes under a wood-burning sauna stove. Harvia’s instruction sheet is direct about when it is not optional: “the protective bedding must be used when the stove is installed on e.g. tile floor with a water barrier treatment.” Harvia lists it for its wood-burning stove range with two exceptions, the 20 ES Pro/S and the Linear 22 ES. It measures 22 x 25 in and 2–3 in high, weighs 26.5 lb, and the feet let you level a stove on a floor that slopes to a drain.
Harvia HSP1 Embedding Flange for Harvia Spirit | Stainless Steel

Harvia’s description is that it ‘ensures a neat finish and also acts as a thermal radiation shield for your benches’; Note that it protects the bench structures from water and heat and that the stainless steel is easy to keep clean. It measures 22.44 x 17.32 in, weighs 1.43 lb, and is designed, engineered and made in Finland.

Narvi Stone Cage 250×400 Black | Flue-Mounted Stone Basket for Narvi Wood Stoves

Narvi’s reasoning: the heat of the flue gets used better, and the steam lasts longer because the water flows from the cage down onto the heater’s own stones. Cages can be stacked. Stones are not included, and the 4–6 in stones Narvi specifies for the heater basket are too large for the cage.
