Find a barrel sauna kit that fits.
Every barrel here is a kit, for two to eight people, with electric or wood-fired heat; Finnmark’s two add infrared. Look for two bench levels: on a single low bench your feet sit in the coldest air.

Garden, lake, or your favorite corner of the room. Where would you like to look?
No size limit until you choose one. Slide or type in feet; matches update as you go.
3. Tap the sides you want glass.
Choose 1–4 sides on the plan. Blue means a window or glass wall. A glass door alone works with either choice for its side.
Add dimensions to shape your space. Controls stay large enough to tap; this is a layout sketch.
One view to start with. Make it yours.
We compare the glass layout with the door side. Window sizes and door positions vary; check the product plan for your space.
We check outside footprints both ways round. Leave room for the door and the clearances in the manual.

Sauna Marketplace’s barrel saunas are listed below. Each card says where the sauna can go, whether it is a kit or prebuilt, its seats, outside footprint, kind of heat and base price (the price of the sauna itself: a heater is included only where the card says “Heater included”), and links to the sauna’s own page. With JavaScript on, the finder above filters the list, and the same filters work in the page address, for example https://saunamarketplace.com/product-category/saunas/outdoor-saunas/barrel-saunas/#heat=electric&people=4&budget=10000&space=96x84 (space is depth by width in inches; heat is electric, wood, infrared or gas for propane; build is kit or prebuilt).

- Good to know
Choosing a barrel
- Two bench levels: the SaunaLife EE6G and EE8G, Thermory’s Ignite with tiered benches, and the 60 Series with the raised bench kit.
- Sizes: the Thermory Cozy and Ignite come for two, four or six; the SaunaLife EE6G seats four, the EE8G six and the G11 eight.
- Wood-fired: the EE8G, Ergo, G3, G11 and Thermory 60 Series take a wood stove. The EE6G is electric only.
- A real roof: SaunaLife barrels come with a shingle roof kit. On Thermory barrels, plan a shingle or metal roof in place of the rain jacket for the long run.

Before you order
- Delivery. Barrel crates are long and heavy. Plan a lift-gate drop to the ground and help to move the parts.
- The base. A level pad, or pavers under the cradles on compacted ground.
- Heat. An electric heater needs its own 240V circuit; a wood stove needs a chimney and its clearances.
- The wood. The SaunaLife and Thermory barrels are thermally modified spruce, which moves far less than untreated wood, so the staves stay tight.
Sauna kit questions
Why choose a barrel sauna over a cube?
Lower cost, faster heat-up, and less maintenance. The round profile heats quickly and sheds rain. A cube gives you more headroom and bench space if you have the budget.
Does a barrel sauna kit include the heater?
The right heater depends on the experience and aesthetic you are after. Saunum heaters bring hot air down to the floor to combat barrel saunas weakness (one bench level). HUUM gets hottest. Harvia is most reliable. Heaters with fewer rocks heat faster, while more rocks is more comfortable and creates 'soft' steam.
We recommend reaching out, we're pretty good at heater pairings after learning what you value.
What wood are your barrel saunas made from?
Thermally modified spruce, or thermally modified aspen on the Finnmark FD-7 (the Finnmark FD-6 is cedar). The heat treatment makes the wood stable and rot-resistant without chemicals, which is why it outlasts untreated softwood outdoors.
