    Harvia HSP1 Embedding Flange for Harvia Spirit | Stainless Steel

    When a Harvia Spirit is recessed into a bench, the HSP1 is the stainless flange that finishes the opening. Harvia’s description is that it ‘ensures a neat finish and also acts as a thermal radiation shield for your benches’; Note that it protects the bench structures from water and heat and that the stainless steel is easy to keep clean. It measures 22.44 x 17.32 in, weighs 1.43 lb, and is designed, engineered and made in Finland.

    What’s included

    • Stainless steel embedding flange

    Embedding a Spirit into a bench puts bench timber right up against the heater, and in the path of any water thrown at the rocks. The HSP1 is a stainless flange that closes that opening.

    Harvia’s own wording is that the flange “ensures a neat finish and also acts as a thermal radiation shield for your benches”. It does two jobs: it protects the bench structures from water and heat, and the stainless steel is easy to keep clean. It is designed, engineered and made in Finland.

    One thing to plan for: the flange finishes the opening, it does not create it. The bench cut-out has to be built to suit the heater, so bring the flange dimensions to whoever is building the benches rather than fitting it afterwards.
