The HUUM UKU extension box provides the additional switching capacity a HUUM heater needs once it is rated 12 kW or above. It is installed alongside a HUUM UKU control (Local or Wi-Fi), which remains the user interface for the sauna.
It is not required below that threshold — the HIVE Mini at 10.6 kW, for example, runs without one.
