Natural Nordic Spruce, 1×4 smooth tongue-and-groove, the wood Finland has lined saunas with for generations. Light tone, tight characterful knots, a clean mild scent. It is not thermally modified, so it moves a little more than our thermo woods through the heat-and-cool cycle. We carry it for the budget build and the honest Finnish look. PROSAUNAS Aspen 1X1 S4SEE SHP Moulding & Trim – Sauna Wood
Price range: $2.13 through $17.09Small piece, big finish difference. The aspen 1×1 S4SEE is a 21mm square moulding, surfaced smooth on all four sides with eased edges, and it’s what turns a clad sauna wall from a room with boards on it into a room that looks finished. Cap a horizontal run, cover a ceiling-to-wall seam, hide a gap where wall meets bench frame: this is the piece. Pale aspen, resin-free, cool to the touch.
