The ProSaunas Aspen Groove-S 1×3 is a narrow tongue-and-groove cladding with a shadow-line reveal that punches above its width. At 15mm thick (0.59″) and 60mm wide with 47mm of coverage, the Groove-S mills a crisp, angular channel between each board. The result on a full wall is a finely fluted surface: tight horizontal lines, a lot of depth, and a look that works equally well in a Japanese-influenced minimal room or a clean Nordic box. Why Aspen
Aspen gives you the palest possible tone, which is exactly right for a narrow-slat profile: the shadow lines read clearly against a light background. No resin, no splinters, cool to the touch at temperature. The honest trade-off with natural (non-thermally-modified) aspen is that it moves a bit more through the heat-and-cool cycle than thermo-aspen, which can mean the groove gaps open very slightly over years of use. It sands and refinishes easily if you ever want to refresh the surface. If you run a very hot room very frequently and want minimal movement, look at our thermo-aspen Groove-S.

Where it goes
Walls and ceilings wherever you want a deliberately designed surface rather than a plain lined wall. Particularly strong on a ceiling, a back wall behind the bench, or any accent plane. Mixes well with a simpler STS4 aspen profile on adjacent walls if you want to break up the room visually. Pair with aspen S4SEE bench boards to keep the palette cohesive.
