Harvia
Harvia is a Finnish sauna and spa manufacturer, listed on Nasdaq Helsinki since 2018 and the owner of EOS, Kirami, and ThermaSol. The practical difference for a buyer is that one room-sizing method runs through the whole line. Harvia’s manuals, wood-burning and electric alike, adjust room volume the same way, so the cubic feet you measure once carries from an M3 wood stove to a Virta Pro in a commercial room.
We list 57 Harvia items across sauna heaters, chimney parts, controllers, and stones. The M3 is the Harvia our customers reach for most often. What we tell every M3 buyer before they order pipe is that Harvia wood stoves ship with a 4.5 inch European flue, so North American 6 inch pipe needs the WZ115155 adapter. Call us at (844) 565-1113 and we will size the room with you.
Harvia questions
What size Harvia heater do I need?
Measure the room in cubic feet, then adjust it the way Harvia’s manuals do. Log walls multiply the volume by 1.5, and every square foot of uninsulated brick, glass, tile, or concrete adds 3.94 cubic feet. Size to that adjusted number: a 6 kW KIP covers 170 to 300 cubic feet, and the Spirit range covers 177 to 494.
Which Harvia heater do you sell the most of?
The M3 wood stove, with the KIP electric right behind it. The 6 kW KIP is simple: 44 pounds of stone, a dual-wall body that keeps the exterior cool to the touch, and an external temperature sensor you place where the room needs it.
Will a Harvia wood stove connect to American chimney pipe?
It needs one part. Every Harvia wood-burning stove ships with the European 4.5 inch exhaust collar, and the WZ115155 adapter steps it to the 6 inch pipe sold here. For a full run, the WHP1500M kit includes the chimney, utility box, smoke pipe, rain cap, rubber rain flange, ceiling lead-through flange, insulation, and the installation manual.
Does a Harvia electric heater need a separate controller?
The small ones do not. The Vega Compact has no external control box, and the KIP comes in built-in-control versions. Larger heaters take a panel. The Fenix FX30-U1-U3-XC handles 7 kW at 240 volts and the FX45-U1-U3-XC handles 11 kW, both with 4.3 inch touchscreens, and the Xenio CX45 is rated to 17 kW, single or three phase.
