Most sauna lighting fails by pointing at people. The HPCU4LUL points its LEDs at the heater. The Cilindro’s shell reflects that light back into the room diffused and low, which is the quality of light you actually want at the end of a session. It happens to be the safest place to put a light too: low, behind a guard, nowhere near the stones.
It is still a safety rail first
Four wooden arches attached to each other and to the heater on stainless steel mounts, in the same heat-treated birch as the rest of Harvia’s rail range. The job is keeping contact off a hot cylinder in a dark room, and the lighting is what it does while it is there.
Which heater it fits
The 10.5 kW Harvia Cilindro. The 6 and 8 kW models take the smaller HPC3 railing instead, so match it to the kW on your heater plate rather than by eye.

Wiring
There is a light in it, so there is a circuit to run. Decide on this railing before the electrician’s first visit rather than after the walls are closed, which is the same advice we give about every powered accessory and the same mistake we watch people make.
Worth the difference?
It is roughly double the plain rail. If you were already planning to buy a rail and a light, it is cheaper than both and it looks better than either. If you have lighting handled, buy the plain one.
