Check the date on your heater before you buy this one. Every HIVE built since April 2024 already has an Air Tunnel inside it. If yours is older, this is the stainless steel insert that sits down among the stones and gives the heat a channel to climb through: HUUM rates it at a 25 percent shorter heat-up, longer element life, and fewer stones needed to fill the basket. It fits every HIVE and HIVE Mini electric model. A small part that changes how long you wait to get in.

Dropping a Cilindro through the bench is the detail that makes a sauna look designed rather than assembled. The HPC7 is the stainless steel collar that makes it possible on the 10.5 kW model: it lines the cut-out, shields the surrounding timber from radiant heat, and lets the hole be only slightly larger than the heater itself, so the finished result reads as one continuous surface with a heater rising out of it.

The nicest sauna interiors hide their plumbing. This is the piece that lets an automatic water dosing system feed the stones without a length of tube running down your wall. A black steel pipe just under 24 inches long, fitted with a low-profile nozzle, mounted above the heater and fed through the wall panel from behind. The Autodose unit itself is a separate purchase. This is the part people forget to order, then wish they had, once the panels are up and the wall is closed.

Water misses the stones. It happens to everybody, usually around the third ladle, and it lands on the floor under the heater. The SAA00101 is Harvia’s steel catch tray for floor-standing heaters: 17.2 inches wide, 15.2 deep, and nine tenths of an inch tall, so it sits under the base instead of announcing itself. Steel, black, 3.1 pounds. It is the kind of part nobody adds to the first order and most people want by the second winter, so we would rather you saw it now.
