The straight-handle bucket, in aluminum
Many wooden sauna buckets stretch one stave above the rim to make a handle. KOLO keeps that idea and changes the materials: a smooth aluminum body that widens toward the rim, and a flat bamboo handle fixed to the side that rises well above it. You lift the bucket with one hand from the side, without reaching over the water, and the handle never folds into the way of the ladle.
Cool handle, warm room
KOLO describes the bamboo handle as heat resistant and cool to the touch, and says the bamboo and aluminum were chosen to withstand the heat of the sauna. Keep water in the bucket while the heater runs; like any metal bucket, it is the empty one left sitting in a hot room that gets warm.
