Homecraft
Homecraft has built sauna heaters in Surrey, British Columbia since 1988, and still supplies parts for units installed twenty and thirty years ago. What sets theirs apart is the protected element air chamber: the ceramic-coated rods sit behind stainless steel mesh and layers of rock, so the water you throw never lands on an element. The steam is made by the stone instead, 310 to 325 pounds of it on the Apex.
We carry three of their heaters: the Revive Slim in 4, 5 and 6 kW, the Revive in 6, 7.5 and 9 kW, and the Apex in 10, 12, 15 and 18 kW. All three carry a two-year warranty, and the Revive and Revive Slim ship from New York rather than across the border. Twenty-one have sold since 2023, twelve of them Revives, into more than a dozen states and provinces. Call the Bens at (844) 565-1113 and we will size it with you.
Homecraft questions
What size Homecraft heater do I need?
Work from interior cubic feet, not floor area. The Revive Slim runs 4 to 6 kW, the Revive 6 to 9, and the Apex 10 kW covers up to 625 cubic feet, with the line reaching 1,150. On uninsulated single-layer wood in a cold climate we size up one tier: a 310 cubic foot pod took the 9 kW, not the 7.5.
What electrical does the Homecraft Revive 9 kW need?
A 50 amp breaker on #8 wire, per the Homecraft manual. The 9 kW is the largest Revive, and it wires for 240V or 208V, the 208V option dropping to 40 amps. Its TKE-2 controller runs on a 24V Class 2 circuit and can sit 75 feet from the heater on 18/4 wire. The Revive needs no door sensor.
What is the difference between the Revive Slim, the Revive and the Apex?
Rock mass. The Revive Slim measures 13.5 by 8 by 36 inches and holds 100 pounds at 4 to 6 kW, the Revive holds 190 to 210 pounds at 6 to 9 kW, and the Apex holds 310 to 325 pounds across 10 to 18 kW. Homecraft’s rock spec is 2 to 5 inch stone, and the Apex clears combustibles at 5.5 inches.
Does the Homecraft controller work over WiFi?
Yes. The Revive includes the wall-mounted TKE-2 touchpad, four buttons: on, off, up, down. The WiFi version starts and stops the sauna, sets temperature to 194°F and schedules sessions up to 60 minutes from your phone, and it is offered on both the indoor controller and the weatherproof outdoor one.
Homecraft Apex Commercial-Grade Electric Sauna Heater | 10, 12, 15 and 18 kW
$2,050.00 – $3,100.00Price range: $2,050.00 through $3,100.00A commercial room that goes cold on a Saturday morning costs more than the heater ever did. Apex is the Homecraft built for rooms that open early and run late: an 18-inch stainless tower carrying 350 lbs of igneous rock, elements set back inside a protected air chamber instead of sitting out in the rock, and four outputs covering rooms from 400 to 1,150 cubic feet. Built in Surrey, British Columbia, CSA and UL certified. We sell the contactor box, the touchpad and the rock alongside it, so nothing lands on your dock half finished.
Homecraft Revive Slim Electric Sauna Heater | 8-Inch Deep, 4, 5 and 6 kW
$1,350.00 – $1,690.00Price range: $1,350.00 through $1,690.00Most small saunas do not fail on power. They fail on the eight inches of wall you do not have. The Revive Slim is 8 inches deep and 13.5 inches wide, and with the Homecraft wall baffle behind it the clearance to combustibles drops from 3.5 inches to 1. That is the difference between a bench you can actually sit on and a room you gave up on. Three outputs from 4 to 6 kW for rooms of 100 to 325 cubic feet, stainless throughout, built in Surrey, British Columbia, CSA and UL certified.
Homecraft Revive Electric Sauna Heater | 200 lb Rock Tower, 6, 7.5 and 9 kW
Water hits the stones and the room answers. That is the whole argument for the Revive: a 36-inch stainless tower holding 200 lbs of rock, with the heating elements set back inside an air chamber so the steam comes off hot stone instead of hot metal. Softer heat, and a lot more of it per ladle than a heater with a shallow basket. Three outputs from 6 to 9 kW, built in Surrey, British Columbia, CSA and UL certified with ETL listing for permanent installation. It is the heater we point wellness buyers to when they have been comparing it against a HUUM.
