Rento’s description of this one: “Arctic Pine scent contains pine needles and resin and sensuous woody fragrances.” The bottle is 13.5 oz, 2.5 × 2.5 × 6.3 in, and ships at 0.9 lb. Crafted in Finland.

This is a concentrate. The EU-format safety data sheet issued for part 600484 (Tammer Brands Oy, Tampere, revision 27 October 2022) classifies it Skin Sens. 1A, H317, “may cause an allergic skin reaction”, and Aquatic Chronic 3, H412, “harmful to aquatic life with long lasting effects”. Should I pour sauna scent straight onto the rocks?

Sauna scent goes into the water in your sauna bucket, not neat onto the rocks. Rento's own instruction for this product is one sentence: “Add some scent to a sauna bucket and throw water on a hot sauna stove for aromatic steam.” Our support team gives the same advice for sauna oils generally, dilute them in the löyly water, or use a dedicated sauna diffuser or steam stone, rather than applying oil directly to hot stones.
