The bucket and ladle
The bucket is aluminum, 9.4 in across and 7.9 in tall, and holds a gallon. Its ladle has a long bamboo handle that stays cool to the touch. Pour with it as a ladle, or push the handle through the two holes near the rim and it becomes the bucket’s handle for carrying. Between pours it can rest across the top. If you only want the bucket and ladle, the same ladle-as-handle design is sold on its own as the KOLO bucket and ladle set.
Fifteen minutes of sand
The timer is a traditional hourglass of hand-blown glass held in a western red cedar frame, 11 by 3.5 in, with easy-to-read time marks from 1 to 15 minutes along the side. Turn it over when you sit down, and the sand shows how long the round has run without a phone or a clock in the hot room.
The thermometer
A round dial, 4.7 in across, marked from 70 to 240°F, in black or white to match the bucket. Hang it where you can read it from the bench.
In the box
