Rento Peat Face and Body Mask | 6.8 fl oz, Finnish Peat

A jar of pure Finnish peat, for the face and the body. Rento fills its peat mask with 100% Finnish peat, makes it for all skin types and pitches it as a way to relax around a sauna evening at home. It goes on dark, almost black. The 6.8 fl oz jar is made from post-consumer recycled plastic, and the mask is made in Finland.

    Rento

    One ingredient

Rento lists the mask as 100% pure Finnish peat. Peat is the dark, soft material that forms in Finnish bogs over thousands of years, and it is what gives the mask its near-black color in the jar and on the skin.

    Face and body

Rento makes it for both, and for all skin types. It is sold as a sauna product, part of a slower evening rather than a quick rinse.

    The jar

A dark jar with a black lid, 3.7 in across and 2 in tall, holding 6.8 fl oz. The label notes that the jar is made from post-consumer recycled plastic. It is the same size and style as the jar of Rento’s body butter.

Rento’s own line for the mask is short: enhance your sauna experience, and relax. Its photographs show it with a waffle robe and a sauna pillow, worn while resting rather than rushed between rounds.

Pair it with a Rento towel for afterward: the Kenno hand towel is the right size for a face.
