What it’s made of
70% recycled cotton and 30% polyester, 19.7 x 27.6 in, with a chambray border. Rento makes the Kenno line from surplus cotton collected from the textile industry. Designed in Finland, made in India.
Colors: Beige, Brown, Dark Blue, Dark Green, Gray, Dark Brown and Light Gray (gray/white). For a full bench, look at the Kenno bench-length seat cover; for drying off, the Kenno bath towel is 71 x 35 in.
How to wash it
From Rento’s care label for the Kenno line:
- Wash before first use, and wash it on its own.
- Gentle cycle at 104°F.
- Expect about 5% shrinkage. Stretch it back to shape while it is still damp.
- Iron on medium heat if needed.
- No tumble dryer and no dry cleaning.
Keep textiles off the heater. Never dry or drape a towel, seat cover or pillow on or over a sauna heater. Heater manuals, HUUM’s among them, forbid it, and Rento asks that its pillows are not left close to a hot stove.
Questions we get
Will a colored towel bleed?
Rento’s label says to wash it before first use and to wash it on its own. Do both and you are following the maker’s instructions.
Which size do I sit on?
This hand towel folds into a small seat. To cover the bench, the Kenno seat cover is cut for it: 20 x 24 in for one person, or 24 x 63 in bench length.
