Designed by Harri Koskinen
Rento describes its Harri Koskinen collection as stylish and simple, in line with Scandinavian design, and the bucket shows what that looks like in practice. One material holds the water: glossy stainless steel, polished until it mirrors the room around it. One material meets your hand: a strip of birch bent into an arc and fixed to the bucket on two steel lugs, with the Rento name pressed into the wood.
On the bench
Carry it in by the handle, then let the handle settle against the rim so it stays out of the way while you ladle. Rento’s care steps for its buckets apply here: empty it after the session, don’t leave it in a hot, humid sauna between sessions, and clean it with mild soapy water and a soft sponge when it needs it.
The matching ladle
Koskinen designed a ladle for the same collection: a stainless steel cup on a birch handle, 19.9 in from end to end. We list it separately, so you can buy the pair or set the bucket next to a ladle you already own.
