ProSaunas Wall-Mounted Sauna Sand Timer | 15 Minutes, Pine or Cedar

Half a turn on the wall and the next round starts. This ProSaunas sand timer screws to the sauna wall on its own mounting plate and rotates in place, so you restart it without taking it down or setting it on the bench. Fifteen minutes of white sand runs through glass made to resist cracking and leaks, in a frame of knotless Finnish pine or knotless Canadian red cedar, 14.2 in tall. The sand shows how long you have been in; when you step out is still your call.

Mount it once, turn it every round

A slim mounting plate goes on the wall with the screws in the box, and the timer turns on that plate. When the sand has run through, rotate the timer half a turn and the next fifteen minutes begin. Nothing sits loose on the bench.

A 0 to 15 minute scale is engraved beside each glass chamber. One set of numbers is cut upside down, so whichever end is at the bottom, its scale reads the right way up.

    Pine or cedar

Both frames are knotless wood, 3.8 in wide and 1.9 in deep: pale Finnish pine, or Canadian red cedar in a darker brown. Pick the one that sits best against your walls. The glass, the white sand and the 15-minute run are the same in both, and each timer weighs 0.5 lb.

    In the box

    • The sand timer on its wall plate
    • Installation manual
    • A bag of screws

ProSaunas covers it for two years against defects in workmanship in residential use.

Rather have one that is not fixed to the wall?

The 4Living sand timer stands or hangs, and the thermometers, hygrometers and timers page has every timer and gauge we carry side by side.
