    The flame makes heat. The stones make it sauna. Each box contains 33 lb of rounded 1 to 2 in olivine diabase selected for heat storage and soft steam. SaunaLife specifies two boxes for TITAN SL1 even though the heater’s installed stone capacity is 44 lb; the purchase quantity and loaded capacity are different numbers. We keep both numbers visible so the complete heater package is clear before checkout. Inspect, rinse, and stack stones exactly as the heater manual directs.

    SaunaLife’s rounded olivine diabase stones store burner heat and give water the hot mineral surface it needs for löyly. The 1 to 2 in size fits TITAN’s open cylindrical basket while leaving a path for the heater’s designed airflow.

    How many boxes for TITAN?

    Order two 33 lb boxes. TITAN’s current required-product record and manual specify two boxes, while the installed basket capacity is 44 lb. Do not force all 66 lb into the heater. Purchase quantity is not the same as loaded capacity.

    Load for airflow, not appearance

    Inspect and rinse every stone before loading. Place stones by hand and follow the TITAN manual’s stacking method. Do not dump the box into the basket, wedge stones tightly enough to choke airflow, allow stones to obstruct the burner path, or exceed the 44 lb installed capacity. Recheck the stack as stones settle with use.
