Rento Salt Soap | 1.8 oz Bar, Tea Tree, Peat or Unscented

A handmade bar of salt soap for the face and the body, in three versions. Rento recommends Tea Tree for oily and combination skin and Peat for dry skin, and makes a third bar Unscented. Each square bar weighs 1.8 oz, and the box reads 100% natural, vegan and biodegradable, with the Finnish Key Flag on the front. Rento also says salt soap is good at washing away the smell of sweat.

Which bar?

Tea Tree

Rento’s pick for oily and combination skin. The declared ingredients are sea salt (maris sal), sodium cocoate, water, sodium shea butterate, sodium olivate, sodium castorate and organic tea tree oil (Melaleuca alternifolia). It is a white bar.

Peat

A speckled brown bar made with peat. Rento recommends it for dry skin.

Unscented

A white bar with no fragrance, made with natural salt minerals and oils, for anyone who wants the salt soap without a scent.

What salt soap is

Soap made with salt worked into the bar. Rento describes it as natural and gentle, suitable for both face and body, and says it binds moisture to the skin. A square bar is 2 in on each side and about 0.8 in thick.

The box

The black box is printed 100% natural, vegan and biodegradable, and carries the Key Flag symbol, the Finnish mark for products made in Finland.
