Why linen terry
Terry is the looped weave you know from towels. Here the loops are linen and the base fabric underneath them is cotton. The palm side, the side that does the washing, is double-lined, so the mitten holds its shape and lasts longer than a single layer would. That second layer also means the side you scrub with is thicker than the back of the mitten.
Two colors
- Black: black linen loops with a black cotton cuff and hanging loop
- Natural Linen: natural linen-colored loops in a soft taupe, with a black and white woven cuff and a black hanging loop
Washing it
Rento’s care instructions: a normal wash at 140°F, iron on high heat if you want it flat, no bleach and no tumble dryer. Hang it by its loop to dry.
The matching Rento linen terry back washer comes in the same two colors. For brushes in bamboo and natural bristle, see the sauna brushes page.
