Standard or XL
- Standard: 19.7 x 8.7 in, about 4 to 5 in thick. Seven colors: Beige, Brown, Dark Blue, Dark Green, Gray, Dark Brown and Light Gray.
- XL: 19.7 x 13 x 4.7 in, with the chambray border on one side. Gray or Brown.
What it’s made of
The cover is 70% recycled cotton and 30% polyester in Rento’s Kenno weave. The filling is quick-drying polyester. Designed in Finland, made in India.
How to wash it
From Rento’s care label for the Kenno line:
- After a session, rinse it lightly in the shower or put it through the wash.
- Don’t leave it close to a hot heater.
- Wash before first use, and wash it on its own.
- Gentle cycle at 104°F.
- Expect about 5% shrinkage. Stretch it back to shape while it is still damp.
- Iron on medium heat if needed.
- No tumble dryer and no dry cleaning.
Keep textiles off the heater. Never dry or drape a towel, seat cover or pillow on or over a sauna heater. Heater manuals, HUUM’s among them, forbid it, and Rento asks that its pillows are not left close to a hot stove.
Questions we get
Is it for sitting up or lying down?
Both. Rento sizes it for head and neck support on the bench, whether you are leaning back or relaxing. To lie flat you need a bench about as long as you are tall.
Can I wash it?
Yes. Rento says to rinse it in the shower after use or machine wash it: gentle cycle at 104°F, on its own, no tumble dryer.
Soft pillow or wood headrest?
A soft pillow goes in the wash. A wood headrest has no fabric to wash; see the PROSAUNAS Contoured headrest.
