    What it’s made of

    60% linen and 40% cotton, in black, with the Auroom logo in gold at the front. One size fits most. Auroom is the Estonian sauna maker; see the rest of the line on the Auroom page.

    Care

    It goes in the washing machine. Follow the care label sewn into the hat for the temperature, and hang it where air moves so it dries all the way through between sessions.

    Keep textiles off the heater. Never dry or drape a hat, towel or pillow on or over a sauna heater. Heater manuals, HUUM’s among them, forbid it.

    Why wear a hat in a sauna?

    Heat rises, so the air at head height on the top bench is the hottest in the sauna. A hat keeps it off your head, ears and hair, and you can stay up high for the whole round.

    Auroom or Rento Kenno?
