    Outer beauty. Inner peace.

Shou Sugi Ban in North America is not the same as the ancient practice. It's usually some guy with a torch.

Thermory Ignite Barrel Saunas mirror the charred look of shou sugi ban, with the durability that only thermal modification can deliver. And because the process is flame-free, there’s no messy residue—only realistic texture that marries ancient tradition with modern living.

The result is a thermally modified Nordic spruce never shrinks for unmatched durability and stability, along with 25 years of proven rot resistance.

A LITTLE HELP FROM THE BENS

      Let’s find your sauna.

Tell us where it’s going, who’s joining you, and whether you want room to stretch out. Bring a photo or rough dimensions. The Bens can help you compare saunas and work through the heater, assembly, and delivery details.

Find your sauna with a Ben

Make room for how you’ll use it.

A person count only tells you so much. Look at the bench layout and usable length, especially if you want to lie down.
