    The wall comes first.

    • Each stove passes through an opening in a non-combustible wall, concrete or brick. The Harvia M3 SL needs 8.7 in wide by 15.4 in tall and a wall no thicker than 5.9 in; each stove’s page states its own.
    • Stones and the chimney are separate unless the listing is a package.

What wall does a through-wall stove need?

A non-combustible wall, concrete or brick, with an opening sized for the stove and a non-combustible section around it. The Harvia M3 SL needs an opening 8.7 in wide by 15.4 in tall in a wall up to 5.9 in thick. Each stove’s page lists its own opening.

Can I still see the fire?

The Harvia Duo adds a fireplace on the far side, so the next room gets a fire to watch while the sauna gets the heat.
