What it’s made of
A 100% cotton jacquard cover in coal black over a polyester filling. 19.7 x 8.7 x 5.1 in. Rento: the pillow “will retain its shape wash after wash” and the filling dries quickly. Designed in Finland, made in Turkey.
It matches the Pino seat covers: the single 20 x 24 in and the bench-length 20 x 59 in.
How to wash it
From Rento’s care label for the Pino line:
- After a session, rinse it lightly in the shower, or machine wash it on a colored cycle.
- Don’t leave it close to a hot heater.
- Wash it on its own, normal cycle at 104°F.
- Expect 3% to 7% shrinkage.
- Iron on medium heat if needed.
- No bleach and no tumble dryer.
Keep textiles off the heater. Never dry or drape a towel, seat cover or pillow on or over a sauna heater. Heater manuals, HUUM’s among them, forbid it, and Rento asks that its pillows are not left close to a hot stove.
Questions we get
Is it for sitting up or lying down?
Both. It supports your head and neck on the bench whether you lean back or lie down. To lie flat you need a bench about as long as you are tall.
Pino or Kenno?
Pino is 100% cotton jacquard in coal black. The Kenno pillow is a recycled cotton and polyester blend in seven colors, with an XL size.
