Bench length, in one piece
59.1 x 19.7 in: long enough to cover most of a bench in one piece. Measure the bench first. For one person sitting, the single Pino cover is 20 x 24 in.
What it’s made of
100% cotton, jacquard woven, in coal black. Rento: the cover “retains its shape and pattern wash after wash”, and the light cotton “feels cool against your skin”, absorbs moisture and dries quickly. Designed in Finland, made in Turkey.
How to wash it
From Rento’s care label for the Pino line:
- Wash it on its own, normal cycle at 104°F.
- Expect 3% to 7% shrinkage.
- Iron on medium heat if needed.
- No bleach and no tumble dryer.
Keep textiles off the heater. Never dry or drape a towel, seat cover or pillow on or over a sauna heater. Heater manuals, HUUM’s among them, forbid it, and Rento asks that its pillows are not left close to a hot stove.
Questions we get
Will it stop sweat stains on my bench?
Only where it covers the wood. Sweat is what marks a bench, and sauna manuals, Finnmark’s among them, ask for a towel on the bench to take it. A seat cover does the same job. Take it out after the session instead of leaving it damp on the bench, and treating the bench wood is still up to you.
What’s the difference between Pino and Kenno?
Pino is 100% cotton in a jacquard weave, one color, coal black. Kenno is a recycled cotton and polyester blend with a chambray border, in seven colors, and comes in a 24 x 63 in bench length and a 20 x 24 in single.
Can it go in the washing machine?
Yes. Rento’s label for Pino is a normal cycle at 104°F, washed on its own, no bleach and no tumble dryer. It can shrink 3% to 7%.
