That back bench is nearly 7′ long and super sturdy! So Stretch Out, Lay Down, Sauna Party – Ergo Series barrels are here for it. The EE6G includes a flat floor making it easy to get your footing. This durable barrel sauna is backed by a limited lifetime warranty (w/ a 30+ year old company behind it!), US-Based Tech Support, and Whatever-It-Takes customer service. How can they possibly offer that, you ask?- The included shingled roof with drip edge keeps water out and away. Two floor drains and wall vents insure it will dry out after steamy sessions.
- Thermally Modified wood is naturally enhanced (using heat and steam in a vacuum) to change the wood at a cellular level. The resulting wood resists rot and can last 2x longer than cedar.
- The Thermal Modification also creates a completely stable wood that doesn’t expand and contract – which causes gaps and failure over time in cheaper barrels.
- The wood staves are an industry leading 1.65″ thick.
“These Benches Are Something Else”
SaunaLife is becoming known for bench comfort, an overlooked factor in barrel saunas. The Thermo-Spruce walls in this sauna are beautiful and rustic, but for the benches they stepped it up a notch.
Clear Thermo-Aspen Benches and Backrests match the warmth of the walls but are soft, silky smooth, and knotless.
And they didn’t just throw up some boards and call it a bench. SaunaLife Ergo barrel saunas have ergonomic benches and backrests that are subtle but make a big difference. There’s some curve in the bench but not so much that it’s uncomfortable to lay down.
One of our favorite things about this sauna, is that the lower bench extends all the way to the back wall under the top bench. If you find another way to support the top bench (ask us), the lower bench is nearly the size of a twin bed! We’ve been told this sauna doubles as a pretty cool playhouse for kids and we can see why.
Lights, Action
The “includes” list is long, but the free LED light kit is a huge value and really enhances the experience. The last thing you want in a sauna is flickering, buzzing, or melting lights. The kit includes a heat and moisture-resistant (IP67) dotless white LED light bar that can be adjusted over an app or hand-held remote. A compatible ceiling lighting fixture is available to add indirect overhead light and infinite color to dial in your mood.Features
