Plan the delivery, electrical work and assembly before your sauna arrives. These checks help you get from a delivered kit to your first sauna without avoidable surprises.

Before the truck arrives

  • Agree on unloading. Ask the carrier to confirm the delivery appointment, truck access, unloading method and whether a liftgate can handle your shipment. Have a plan for moving the crate from the delivery point to the build area.
  • Check the route. Review the packed shipment size and weight with the carrier. Include gates, slopes, steps and tight turns in your unloading plan.
  • Prepare the base. SaunaLife Cube saunas need a stable, level foundation and drainage that keeps wood from sitting in water. Have the base ready before assembly.
  • Inspect the delivery. Check the packaging and parts, photograph any damage, and keep the delivery paperwork. Contact Sauna Marketplace if anything is damaged or missing.

Get the electrical quote early

Give a qualified electrician the manuals for your exact heater, control and lighting package before you schedule installation. SaunaLife requires qualified professionals for heater and lighting electrical work.

Ask for an itemized quote that covers the cable route from your panel, any panel work, trenching or conduit, permits, heater and control connections, and lighting power. Ask which tasks and materials are included. The sauna price alone does not tell you what electrical installation will cost.

Settle the layout before wiring

Confirm heater position, bench layout and ventilation before the electrician fixes the cable route. Use the heater and control manuals for clearances and sensor placement. A heater move can change both the wiring route and how heat reaches the benches.

For the CL5G, check the heater guard against your selected heater’s clearances. SaunaLife’s manual warns that the standard guard does not fit every heater. Do not use a guard that fails the required safety distances.

Sort the glass parts before assembly

Read your exact model’s parts list and glass assembly drawings first. Group parts by their drawing labels, keep hardware with its assembly step, and arrange help before handling the glass. If a part or label does not match the drawing, send Sauna Marketplace a photo before proceeding.
