This natural process is common in Europe, used to make the wood more durable, longer lasting, and stable. Thermo-Aspen is significantly darker than raw Aspen, closer to western red cedar.
Insulation	Yes – European Standard European Sauna Construction Standards consist of a thick, insulated wall assembly that maximizes the drying potential of interior and exterior cladding. Designed in cooperation with the talented Italian architect Luca Donazzolo, Libera comes in five standard sizes and your choice of the three most popular European sauna woods. It can be custom ordered along with matching wood panels for a completely custom ‘built-in’ look on any project. The front can be either a full glass wall or mostly wood with a glass door for a more meditative, private sauna environment.
