Harvia Spirit vs HUUM DROP: Sizing, Controls and Complete Packages
HUUM DROP and Harvia Spirit are both wall-mounted electric heaters with rounded, exposed-stone designs. Choose between them by the exact room range, installation envelope and control system you want.
We sell both. DROP gives you the HUUM UKU control platform and four output choices. Spirit uses compatible Harvia controls. Compare complete systems: the heater, controls and correct stones, with the installation checked before purchase.

Which size fits your sauna?
Start with finished interior volume and account for uninsulated surfaces. The ranges below are the manufacturers’ U.S. 240 V model tables. The current selections available for purchase are shown on each product page.

These columns are model lists, not equivalent-size pairings. For example, a DROP 6 and Spirit 6 have the same nominal power but different stated room ranges. Follow each manufacturer’s construction and sizing instructions.

Choose the controller you want to live with
HUUM UKU Local operates from the wall panel. UKU Wi-Fi adds app control. New complete UKU systems sold by Sauna Marketplace use UKU 4.2; replacement components retain their own generation requirements.
For Spirit, choose the compatible Harvia control package shown with the heater. A wall display, Wi-Fi feature or app name alone does not identify all the required power and sensor hardware. Review the package contents rather than assuming a control is included with a heater-only price.
Use the drawings to check the fit
The heaters have different bodies, mounting details and installation requirements. A heater that fits within a room-volume range can still be wrong for a particular bench, wall or electrical layout. Use the exact U.S. manual with your installer.

Maintenance and ownership
Both heaters need the specified stones arranged correctly, room ventilation and the maintenance described in their manuals. Stones wear with use and should be inspected and rearranged as directed. Neither heater should be treated as maintenance-free.
We do not promise a universal warm-up time or that either model will be more reliable in every installation. Room construction, sizing, stone placement, use and maintenance all matter. Compare the current warranty documents on the product pages, including their exclusions.
Our recommendation
Choose DROP when you want the DROP design and UKU control system, and the exact output and installation work for your sauna. Choose Spirit when you prefer its design and compatible Harvia control system, and its model-specific requirements fit your room.
