A sauna controller is not a thermostat you add on later. It is the control system the heater runs on, matched to the brand and model, so your heater and the voltage at your panel decide this page long before the screen on the front does.

Harvia’s Fenix makes that concrete. The same touchscreen is rated 7 kW at 240V and 10.5 kW at 208V, and the larger Fenix covers 11 kW at 240V or 15 kW at 208V. Same box, different ceiling, purely because of what is coming out of your wall. The Xenio CX45 goes up to 17 kW in single or three phase, the CX170 is the larger Xenio above it, and the Saunum AirIQ is built for the Saunum Air line.

The HUUM UKU comes two ways. Local runs the room from the panel itself. Wi-Fi adds app control, scheduling and remote start, which is the one you want if you would rather walk out to a hot room than wait for one.

The step people miss is the extension box. A HUUM heater rated 12 kW or above requires the UKU Extension Box, and it is ordered separately, so it belongs on the same order rather than turning into a delay later.
