Regular hexagons read as tile. These do not. The irregular pieces pull the eye across the wall without giving it a grid to settle on, which is why this pattern works so well on a single accent wall behind the benches. Up close the CNC cuts are exact; from the bench the wall just looks like art.
The wood
Heat-treated abachi, chosen because the treatment steadies the wood against a sauna’s constant swing between hot-dry and hot-wet. It comes out of the process a shade darker, smells faintly sweet for years, and sands to a smooth, comfortable face. PEFC-certified, from sustainably managed forests.
Numbers you need
Each panel is 30 inches wide, 10 inches tall, about 0.6 inches thick, and covers 1.5 square feet. A box holds six panels, 9.3 square feet of coverage, plus installation instructions and a 2-year limited warranty. Made in Kiili, Estonia.
Finishing the job
