The ProSaunas Aspen 2×2 S4SEE is a square moulding at 28mm x 28mm (1.1″ x 1.1″), surfaced smooth on all four sides with eased edges. At that size it’s the bolder of our two aspen moulding options: visible enough to be a deliberate design element at a ceiling line or bench rail, not just a filler piece. The eased edges keep it from looking sharp or utilitarian. Milled in Estonia from straight-grained aspen that matches the color of our cladding and bench boards. Sold by the linear foot in 1 and 10 ft lengths.

Why Aspen

Matching trim in the same species and tone as the walls is what makes a clad room look like a carpenter did it rather than an assembler. Natural aspen’s pale, consistent color means the moulding blends into the wall at the seam rather than creating a visible line. Stays cool, no resin, no splinters. Honest note: at 28mm square, natural aspen is still a relatively soft moulding. It won’t hold up to being hit with a bucket or stepped on during install. Handle it the same way you’d handle any finished trim piece: last in, careful fit.

Where it goes

Ceiling-to-wall seams, bench frame transitions, and any horizontal or vertical termination that needs a visible, deliberate trim line. Heavier than the 1×1 moulding, so use this where the joint would otherwise be a visible gap rather than a hairline. Pairs with all aspen cladding profiles and bench boards for a matched room. The SI inside corner and VA outside corner trim handle the room corners.
