Overland builds the sauna you carry to a riverside spot. We have been shipping their tent since April 2024, and the two pieces that make a working sauna weigh under 60 pounds together, because the tent packs under 30 and the Superlite stove weighs 29. The tent is a popup on fiberglass rods and hubs that stands in 4 minutes, with two insulated layers of Oxford 210D quilted fabric that reach up to 200F.

We carry three Overland pieces: the tent, the Superlite stove, and 20 pounds of thermal stones shipped from Portland, Oregon. The stove collapses to 18 by 12 by 12 inches with 8 inch folding feet and chimney pipes that nest from 5 inches down to 4, and a spark arrester sits at the top of the chimney. How much space will the Overland sauna stove heat?

Up to 300 cubic feet, and it brings a tent to 180F or better in about 30 minutes. The Overland tent’s 6 by 6 by 7 foot interior works out to 252 cubic feet, so one Superlite stove covers one tent with capacity to spare on a cold night.

How many people fit in the Overland sauna tent?

Three to four people. The tent measures 6 feet long by 6 feet wide by 7 feet tall, and removable panels open panoramic windows in clear TPU elastomer so you can see out while you sit. Packed with its windows, chimney collar, and travel bag, the whole tent weighs under 30 pounds.

Does the Overland sauna tent come with a stove?

No. The tent ships with the tent body, removable windows, chimney collar, and travel bag. The Superlite stove is a separate item, made in the USA from 22 gauge cold rolled steel, and the 20 pounds of stones is a third line. Most people setting up an Overland from scratch order all three.

How many rocks does the Overland stove hold?

Twenty pounds in the side-mounted rock cage, which is what Overland recommends for the Superlite. The cage doubles as a heat shield, and a flame deflector inside the stove channels flame toward it. If the stove lives in one backyard spot, you can load 30 to 60 pounds on top for more thermal mass.
