What it does

The HUUM Mounting Collar L is designed for use with the HIVE Flow LS Sauna Stoves. This collar enhances the aesthetic of your sauna stove and integrates the stove with a non-combustible wall.

On an LS stove the firebox passes through the wall so wood can be loaded from outside the sauna room. The collar is what makes that penetration look finished on both faces. The catalog lists SKU as the stainless steel collar.

Non-combustible wall only

The manual is unambiguous: “The mounting collar of HIVE Flow LS heaters is designed for installation through a NON-COMBUSTIBLE wall,” with the added warning “Ensure that the flammable material wall does not protrude.”

Fitting

• Install the inner flange inside the outer flange with the supplied fasteners, then adjust to wall thickness: minimum position for a 4 in wall, maximum for a 6 in wall, or anywhere between. Tighten the nuts.
• Remove the stove door and door lock bushing (and ideally the grid) before moving the stove through the opening.
• Find the flange position and fix it with heat-resistant silicone compound (not included), or drill and screw into the wall material.
• Refit the door and lock bushing, move the stove to its final position and check the door swings and locks freely.
• Fit the cover on the sauna-room side with screws or heat-resistant silicone.

Specifications

The small collar for HIVE Flow Mini LS measures 21.2 in wide. Match the collar to the stove.
