The alder 1×2 UK door trim, 0.47" thick by 1.65" wide (0.47 in x 1.7 in), milled in Estonia from natural alder for clean, finished doorway edges. This is the piece that makes the transition from framing to cladding look intentional. Warm reddish-brown alder tone, fine grain, E1 certified. Water-repellent and cool to the touch. It’s a finishing detail, not a structural piece, but a sauna doorway without it reads unfinished. Sold by the linear foot in 1 and 8 ft lengths.
