One handle, straight up
Rope handles loop across the top of a bucket. This one rises from the side as a single spruce grip, taking the bucket to 17.5 in overall, which puts the handle close to your hand when the bucket waits on the floor below the bench. ProSaunas calls it an upright grab handle, designed for ease of use, and it gives you a firm hold when you tip the bucket to pour.
Plastic inside, spruce outside
The plastic water basin is there to prevent leaks, so the wood shell is never what holds the water. The shell itself is lightweight natural spruce, 12 in by 11 in across, hand-stained to accentuate the grain. Real wood varies, so expect the grain and tone of yours to differ slightly from the photos.
A ladle for it
The bucket ships without a ladle. The ProSaunas 17 in spruce ladle is finished the same way and makes the natural pair. For a shorter reach, the ProSaunas birch ladle is 14.5 in long.
