Every electric sauna has a temperature sensor in the hot room and a control somewhere else. On paper that is a short run. In practice the control ends up outside the door, around a corner, or down a hall, and the standard sensor cable does not reach. The WX237 is Harvia’s extension for exactly that, in 30 feet.
Why the colour coding matters
Sensor wiring is low voltage and unforgiving of a swap. Individually coloured conductors mean the person terminating it is matching colours rather than ringing out a bundle, which is faster and materially less likely to end in a fault that only shows up the first time the room gets hot.

Sizing the run
Measure the actual route, not the straight line: up the wall, through the ceiling void, along the joist, down to the panel. Then add slack. Harvia also makes this cable in 75 feet if the panel is a long way off, and paying for length you do not use is cheaper than splicing a sensor circuit.
Which controls it suits
It belongs with Harvia’s separately controlled electric heaters and their wall-mounted panels, the Xenio CX170 family among them. If you tell us the heater and the control you have picked, we will confirm the cable before you order.

This is a fifty seven dollar part that holds up a two thousand dollar install. It rides along with the heater at no extra freight, and the version of this order we like least is the one where an electrician is standing in a half-built sauna waiting on a cable.
