    Harvia SASPO240 Safety Railing for Legend 240 and 300 Wood Stoves

    Heat-treated birch on stainless steel elements, installed directly onto the stove rather than standing on the floor. This is the larger of Harvia’s two full-ring Legend railings, 33.5 in outer diameter with a 23.6 in inner opening, and it covers the Legend PO165, 240, 240 SL, 240 Duo, 300 and 300 Duo. 33.46 in across, 11 lb.

    The SASPO240 is Harvia’s heat-treated birch railing for the larger Legend wood stoves, carried on stainless steel elements and bolted to the stove itself.

    Harvia’s own description: the railing “is designed to be installed around the handmade Harvia Legend heater to increase bathing safety. Made of heat-treated birch, the safety railing is installed directly onto the heater, making it uncompromisingly sturdy.” That is the point of bolting it to the stove rather than standing it on the floor.

    Get the size right: SASPO240 or SASPO241

    Harvia’s installation sheet prints the two full-ring sizes and their stove lists side by side. The railing is a ring, and the two figures on the sheet are its diameters, outer, then inner opening.

    • SASPO240 (this one), 33.5 in outer diameter, 23.6 in inner opening. Legend PO165, Legend 240, Legend 240 SL, Legend 240 Duo, Legend 300, Legend 300 Duo.
    • SASPO9.5, 30.7 in outer, 20.9 in inner. Legend PO11, Legend 150, Legend 150 SL.

    If your stove is a Legend 150 or 150 SL, the 241 is the railing for it. Check the model plate on the stove before you order.
