    You may know that we run a free website for mobile sauna rental companies (SaunaShare).  Since 2018, we've learned that most barrel saunas only last for a couple of years.  We see them leak, develop cracks, and stop holding heat.

    But it doesn't have to be that way.

    The SaunaLife Ergo series is designed to last a lifetime.  Here's what makes the difference:

    Barrel sauna that lasts

    Built To Last a Lifetime

    1. Double-Layer Shingle Roof with a drip edge keeps rainwater out and away.  Every barrel sauna without a roof will leak, eventually causing a complete failure. 
    2. Floor Drains let any bulk water from sauna use easily escape.
    3. Good ventilation improves the sauna experience but also helps the sauna dry out after steamy sessions.  
    4. Thermally Modified Wood is naturally enhanced at a cellular level using only heat and steam in a vacuum.  When done right, it lasts twice as long as cedar, is more sustainable, and doesn't expand and contract.  We've learned the expansion and contraction of cedar and cheap wood is what causes gaps and failures in most barrel saunas.  Thermowood fixes this! 
    5. Cheaper barrel sauna expand and contract so much that using screws would cause cracks in the wood.  The thermowood used in these barrel saunas is completely stable, with screws included.

        Sauna’s great. The assembly instructions could be improved. A step by step video would be highly recommended.
        I added the flat floor which raises the heater and makes getting the lower portion of the sauna hot a challenge.
