Heater sizing guidance
Mira L interior volume is ~268 cu ft. The full glass front and outdoor location increase load. Use this rule of thumb:
- Balanced choice: 9 kW for most climates.
- Cold climates or HIVE: 10.5 kW.
- Steam‑rich sessions: Choose a combi/steam model if you like consistant humidity.
Pair it right
- Cold shower or plunge a few steps from the door.
- Wi‑Fi controls allow scheduling and preheat from the house.
- Backrest lighting is standard; add exterior path lighting if desired.
Operation tips
- Preheat 45–60 minutes for optimal experience.
- Keep intake clear near the heater. Crack the exhaust during use.
- Experiment with lower temps and more water on rocks.
- After your last round, make sure exhaust is open and let the heater run for another 10 minutes to dry.

FAQ
How long does assembly take?
Plan on a full two days for two people if this is your first time building an Auroom sauna. A 3rd person is helpful for the roof and bench installation.
Slab or deck?
Either works. Slab or pavers are simplest. Decks must be engineered for point loads and kept level.
What about winter?
The insulated CLT build and thermo‑wood exterior are made for four seasons. Size the heater correctly and allow more preheat in deep cold.
Can I throw water on the stones?
Yes, all of our heater options for the Auroom Mira L are built to introduce steam by pouring water on the stones.
Do I need a floor drain?
It’s built in.
Do I need mechanical ventilation?
No. The built‑in intake and high exhaust work well. Contact Sauna Marketplace for retrofit options if you'd like to add a mechanical exhaust.
Snow, coastal, or HOA concerns?
We can help with details and finishes. Ask your GC about setbacks and anchoring. We’ll support with drawings and specs.
Warranty and support?
Two‑year cabin warranty. Heaters and electronics carry their own warranties. Sauna Marketplace is your first call for parts and support.
Lead time and shipping?
Typically Auroom Mira's are delivered in 10-14 days in the continental US. Ships by appointment, curbside. Two pallets. Crate about 48 × 91 × 56 in.
