The tests conducted on Finnmark Designs' infrared heaters, models Spectrum+ and Spectrum Carbon, focused on measuring the electromagnetic fields (EMF) produced. These low-EMF heaters were tested at different positions and bandwidths (100Hz, 200Hz, and 3800Hz) using a Narda EHP-50F RF analyzer. The highest EMF measurement recorded was 1.1708mG at Position 3 of the Spectrum+ heater, which is well below the ICNIRP Occupational 2010 safety limits. All tests showed that the heaters maintain very low-EMF levels, with several readings below 0.1mG, confirming their safety for use. These results affirm that Finnmark Designs’ heaters meet the stringent low-EMF requirements for occupational environments.
