Modern Nordic
Modern Nordic is the clean-lined, glass-front end of the outdoor range, and the first choice is whether you build it or set it down finished.
The flat-packed kits arrive as walls, roof, benches and door. You build the base and wire the heater. The SaunaLife CL5G is the one most people start with, at 6’2″ of interior height and 6’3″ of bench, and a HUUM DROP 2.0 at 4.5 to 9 kW is the natural heater to put in it.
The finished cabins skip that step entirely. Haljas Hele units arrive assembled, and the ThermaSol Nordic Misty Medium is a pre-cut cube with its Harvia heater already wired at the factory.
The glass is not a fishbowl, which is the worry everyone has and nobody says out loud. Hele walls are double-glazed mirrored glass, and the ThermaSol Vue’s Mirror+ glazing is clear by day and a privacy mirror at night.
Size by room volume and glazing, not by seat count. The ThermaSol Vera needs 8 kW for 282 cubic feet behind dual glass walls, while the Nordic Misty Small, with glass on one face only, heats 316 cubic feet on 6 kW. Glass is what moves that number, so settle it before you size the heater.
Sort the power early. Most of these want a 240V run to the pad, with the exception of the two Solaris cabins, which run a 3 kW Harvia KIP off rooftop panels and a battery bank.
