A sauna controller is not a thermostat you add on later. It is the control system the heater runs on, matched to the heater brand and model, so the choice is decided by your heater and the voltage at your panel rather than by the screen on the front. Harvia’s Fenix makes that concrete: the same FX30-U1-U3-XC touchscreen is rated 7 kW at 240 V and 10.5 kW at 208 V, while the FX45-U1-U3-XC covers 11 kW at 240 V or 15 kW at 208 V. The Xenio CX45, part CX45-U1-U3-XW, goes up to 17 kW, single or three phase, and the Saunum AirIQ is built for the Saunum Air Perfect heater.

Nine HUUM UKU controllers have gone out to six buyers, most often in Virginia, Illinois, Arizona, Florida and Texas, four of those orders alongside a HUUM DROP 2.0 heater, plus four Harvia Fenix touchscreens. The UKU comes two ways, Local for running the room from the panel itself and Wi-Fi for app control, scheduling and remote start. The step people miss is the extension box, because a HUUM heater rated 12 kW or above requires the UKU Extension Box, part H2003012, ordered separately.
