One stone, one rope
There is nothing to it, and that is the appeal. The scrub is a single piece of natural pumice, the light, porous volcanic stone, about 3 in wide, 3.9 in tall and 1.2 in thick. A loop of hemp rope runs through a hole near the top.
Where it fits in a routine
Rento pairs it with two of its own products: soak first in its mint foot bath, then use the pumice on the rough spots, then finish with its mint foot cream. You can do the same with any soak; the stone does not care what came before it, only that your skin is softened.
Hang it to dry
Pumice holds water in its pores, so hang it by the rope where air can reach it rather than leaving it in a wet corner of the shower. The rope is what makes that easy.
More washing tools in bamboo, linen and natural bristle are on the sauna brushes page.
