Pumice, in a tube
Rento makes two ways to work rough skin. One is a stone, a single piece of natural pumice on a rope. This is the other: a scrub with pumice stone and peppermint oil mixed in, which you spread over the rough spots by hand. A tube is easier to travel with, and it reaches between the toes where a stone does not.
Using it
Rento’s directions are short. Apply a small amount, rub it over your feet, concentrating on the rough areas, then rinse. Rento says it leaves feet feeling moisturized and smooth, with a pleasant mint scent.
Before and after
It works best on skin that has had time in warm water, which is why Rento puts its mint foot bath first. Afterward comes the mint foot cream. The bath, the scrub and the cream are also boxed together as Rento’s foot care gift set.
