Questions we would ask
What does the detachable handle do?
It gives you a long brush and a short one. Attached, the brush measures 17 in from the bristles to the end of the handle, so it covers your back. Detached, you slip your hand under the loop on the back of the head and wash arms, legs and shoulders with the brush flat in your palm.
What is it made of?
Oil-treated bamboo for the head and handle, natural horsehair bristles, hemp, and a protective polyurethane lacquer. The head is 3.2 in wide.
How is it different from the one-piece Rento bath brush?
The one-piece brush is 14.6 in long with a 4.1 in wide head. This one is 17 in long with the handle on, has a hand loop on the head, and comes apart.
Which finish?
Natural shows the pale bamboo grain. Dark Brown is the same brush in oil-treated dark bamboo.
Compare it with the other back and body brushes on the sauna brushes page.
