Reach first
A back brush earns its place with length. This one is 14.6 in from the tip of the head to the end of the handle, which lets you wash between your shoulder blades without twisting. The head is 4.1 in wide and set with natural horsehair bristles, and the handle ends in a cord so the brush can hang instead of lying in a puddle.
What it is made of
Bamboo, horsehair and hemp, finished with a protective polyurethane lacquer. Rento oil-treats the bamboo for a rustic look, and the oiled grain is what you see on the natural version.
Natural or Dark Brown?
The same brush with the same bristles in two finishes. Natural shows the pale bamboo grain. Dark Brown is the same bamboo, oil-treated to a deep brown that shows less of the grain.
Rento’s instruction is simple: use it with your favorite soap. If you want a brush with a strap you can hold in your palm, or a smaller round one, the rest of the range is on the sauna brushes page.
