Two buckets in one
Duo is the right name for it. The outer bucket is heat-treated laminated bamboo, smooth and straight-sided, with a round straight handle running up one side. Inside sits a black plastic liner, and the liner is what holds the water. The bamboo is the part you see and carry; the liner does the wet work and lifts out whenever you want to rinse it.
That split is the reason we carry it. A worn or cracked liner is not the end of the bucket, because Rento sells the black inner bucket on its own. Replace the liner and keep the bamboo.
Natural or Dark Brown
Natural is light, honey-toned bamboo. Dark Brown is a deep, coffee-colored finish on the same bucket. Rento’s all-bamboo sauna ladle comes in both finishes if you want the pair to match.
Care
Rento’s care steps for its buckets are short:
- Empty the bucket after every session.
- Don’t leave it in a hot, humid sauna between sessions.
- When it needs a clean, use mild soapy water and a soft sponge or brush.
