A Better Sauna Kit
SaunaLife is owned and operated by industry veterans with staff in Europe and North America. Over the years, they learned why sauna kits fail and created the cube sauna that can truly last a lifetime. Sauna kits fail for several reasons, and SaunaLife addressed them all.
Proper Roof – Most sauna kits come with no roof, or a temporary roof. Worse, most they don’t tell you. The SaunaLife CL series comes with an asphalt shingle roof like you would put on a house. The underlayment alone is a better roof than some cheaper kits on the market. Critically, the roof system has a drip edge to shed water away from the foundation. A good roof like this also helps keep the heat from escaping out the top of the sauna.
Good Ventilation – Ventilation is critical for sauna performance and the longevity of the sauna. The CL series has intake and exhaust vents on the back wall.
Floor Drainage – Water is introduced into the sauna in several ways, including cleaning and pouring water on the rocks to create steam. Good drainage is important and SaunaLife has drains in the front and back of the sauna.
Unrivaled Comfort
Every detail was considered to ensure exceptional comfort including contoured seating surfaces and supportive arched backrests, so you’ll be comfortable even after long sauna sessions. Satin-smooth thermo-aspen seating provides cool-to-the-touch surfaces to ensure that you will have a relaxing and enjoyable sauna experience. The expansive glass front wall adds a bright, airy feeling, and a picturesque view of the outdoors.
Robust Construction
Premium quality materials are evident everywhere on Cube-Series Saunas. The exterior wood is made from durable full-length staves that have been organically thermally enhanced. This Thermo-Spruce wood is stronger, more dimensionally stable, naturally resists decay and pests, and will far outlast conventional wood. A complete shingle kit with drip rails ensures superior water management and a dry interior. The bronze-tinted 8mm thick front door is both beautiful and tempered for your safety.
Premium Experience Enhancements
Gently illuminating this spectacular sauna is app-based, Wi-Fi controlled premium “dotless” LED lighting. The elegant indirect lighting brings out the natural beauty of the wood and adds another dimension to your relaxing sauna.
Create a backyard spa experience like no other with a Cube-Series backyard sauna and live the SaunaLife!

How Does it compare to similar sauna kits?

Just finishing up my CL4G build now, putting shingles on today and finishing out the trimming before rain hits tomorrow evening.
Quality is nice IMO. I am in the Midwest so cold winters, I have treated the inside with sauna oil prior to installing benches (it does make the color a darker richer tone…looks awesome) and then did the benches as well. Overkill, maybe, but it is easy to do and doesn’t take too long.
Also sealed the outside with a low/no VOC sealer (Seal Once-Marine Clear). If I am going to drop $10k+ (a lot of work prior to get the area ready) I might as well give it the best shot to last a long long time.
The staves are incredible light, surprised me, and once you get the base foundation right it goes up fairly easily (FYI: do not take off the interior support brackets until you have the metal tension straps on…trust me 😂). The door instructions are not great but it does fit perfect.
Trim wood is pretty soft, plan on sealing it up on the exterior. Was surprised to see the two floor drains (nice!) and I can lay down on the two bench but wish I had a few more inches of width. It isn’t bad but 2” more would be nice (5’8”, 195# male, broad shoulders).
Electrician suppose to be out this week to run line out to it, still have to dig a short trench so it may take another week or so…right in time for the cool fall nights (it’s been balls hot the past few days).
So far, so good, very nice looking unit and very sturdy.
